Transformer 2 Game Review and Trailer

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Game Review:

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen hits theaters nationwide today, and it’s no surprise that the film has gotten a videogame adaptation. Or, should I say multiple videogame adaptations, as the Wii and PS2 versions of the game are nothing like their PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC counterparts.

Now let me start off by saying that I haven’t seen the film yet, though a number of folks in the office have, and after going over what happens in the game with them, it seems that this version of Revenge of the Fallen only very roughly follows the story of the movie. There are still the same “boss” Transformers that show up (like Devastator) and the story reaches roughly the same climax, though the in-between stuff seems like it’s very much different. So, if you’re looking for something that gives you the movie experience point-for-point on your console of choice, this won’t do it for you. On a positive note, Shia Labeouf isn’t in the game at all, save a couple sentences that he says at the end of the game (though you don’t even see him), so there’s that.

Alien vs Predator 3 Game for PS3,PC and Xbox360 First Look Review and Video

First Look Review:

Rebellion surprised PC gamers with a stellar first-person shooter based on the Alien and Predator franchises, ten years before. Rebellion spent the next decade making a string of mediocre shooters that paled in comparison to its most notable work.Along with SEGA, Rebellion is “rebooting” Aliens vs. Predator for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

The basic concept remains the same. Aliens, a Predator and a number of Colonial Marines are mixing it up and now you have the opportunity to play as each faction. This time around, there is a strict linear story which plays out Call of Duty style, switching between perspectives after each level. The first batch of “junior” predators storm in and get slaughtered by the Aliens. And thus, one of the elite alien-hunting Predators is sent in to clean up the mess.

We will be have the game release for the platforms XBOX 360, ps3 and PC on February 16, 2010 for America and on Febuary 19 for Europe.

BioShock 2 Updated Quick Look on the PS3:

While we got a look at BioShock 2 just last week, we also had the chance to see the game running on the PlayStation 3 at a Sony press event. Although the game is set to ship at the same time on the Xbox 360, we hadn’t seen much of the PS3 version, so we’re happy to report that, based on the look we just had, the game is looking sharp on Sony’s console.

The look of the game seems to be on par with the Xbox 360 game and boasts the various improvements and upgrades we’ve seen in that version of the game. The game’s color palette features some of the subtle differences that were on display in the original game. While we didn’t see any glaring changes in the game’s look, there was definitely a subtle difference in color usage and possibly even lighting. However, minor differences aside, the game is looking super-sharp on the PS3.

Sins of a Solar Empire Trinity Review,Hints,Cheats and Video

Sins of a Solar Empire:Trinity is coming with great rewards and it is published by an amazing publisher Stardock Entertainment and Ironclad Games.

Let’s get this clear: Sins isn’t anything like a typical turn-based space strategy game such as Galactic Civilizations or the granddaddy of the genre, Master of Orion. Instead, this is a real-time game–but don’t let that make you think that it’s Command & Conquer in space. Though it’s in real time, Sins unfolds at such a leisurely pace and can happen on such a gigantic scale that you’ll easily manage five or six gigantic fleets at a time as you battle across multiple star systems that contain dozens of worlds.

This game contains many amazing features like:

  • Advanced AI that automates micro-management
  • Robust multiplayer via LAN and Internet (Ironclad Online)
  • Includes the original award-winning game, plus the Entrenchment and Diplomacy expansions
  • Three unique, customizable races
  • Seamless blend of epic strategy and tactical combat
  • Spectacular 3D graphics and particle effects drawn to scale utilizing the proprietary Iron Engine
